Prof. Xia-ting Feng, from China, was elected as ISRM President for 2011-2015, during the Council meeting that took place on 18 May 2009 in Hong Kong. The other 2 presidential candidates were Dr Claus Erichsen, from Germany, and Prof. Francois Heuze, from the USA.

Prof. Xia-ting Feng will start his term of office after the 12th International Congress of the ISRM, which will take place in Beijung, China, 16-21 October 2011.
